«FANTASMAS (Ópera, telepatía y amistad)» es una conferencia performática sobre ópera, telepatía y amistad a cargo del compositor Julián Galay. Partiendo de una actitud de escucha atenta, se propone investigar las relaciones ocultas entre hechos aparentemente aislados y diversos, como la historia de los medios, la voz humana, los procesos de creación de obra y la etimología de la palabra “persona”. Como un eco, resuena una pregunta de Philip K. Dick: “¿Quién es humano y quién se enmascara de ser humano?”
«FANTASMAS (Opera, telepathy and friendship)» is a performative lecture on opera, telepathy and friendship by composer Julián Galay. Starting from an attitude of attentive listening, he proposes to investigate the hidden relationships between apparently isolated and diverse facts, such as the history of the media, the human voice, the processes of creation of art and the etymology of the word "person". Like an echo, a Philip K. Dick question resounds: "Who is human and who masquerades as human?"

One afternoon in February 2024, at the Centro de Arte Sonoro (CASo) in Buenos Aires, Julián Galay presented his performative lecture «FANTASMAS (ópera, telepatía y amistad)». This book captures that event, where hidden connections emerged between seemingly isolated and diverse phenomena, such as the history of media, the human voice, artistic creation processes, and the etymology of the word persona.
